Lazar Upper Cervical Chiropractic, Ann Arbor: upper cervical care built on measurement

The tests came back normal.

You still don't feel right.

You've seen everyone. You've tried everything.

It isn't in your head. It was never measured.

That many symptoms across that many systems isn't random.

They connect through one place no one has measured: your upper neck, your brainstem, your nervous system.

We never guess. We measure.

If the scans don't show something we can help, we'll tell you.

What if this is different?

When nothing else has worked, start with clarity.

sound familiar

Which of these have you said?

"The tests came back fine."

Normal tests look for disease. They don't measure how your nervous system is regulating your body. That was never checked.

"I've seen everyone."

Neurology, cardiology, rheumatology, ENT, GI, another chiropractor. Each one looked at their piece. No one measured how the pieces connect.

"I've tried everything."

You tried everything you were told to try. Measurement wasn't on the list.

"They said it's just anxiety."

That is the answer people get when the tests are clean. Anxiety is real. So is a nervous system that has never been measured.

"Maybe it's all in my head."

That many symptoms across that many systems isn't random. And it isn't in your head.

"This is just how it is. Learn to live with it."

It's how it is until someone measures. A screening can't tell you why. Measurement can.

Most people aren't failing. They were never given the full picture.

why it was missed

Why the tests keep coming back normal

Most tests look for disease. When they don't find one, the answer is "normal." But normal tests don't measure dysfunction, which is how well your nervous system is regulating your body. So the symptoms are real, the tests are clean, and nobody can explain it.

At the top of your neck, the first bone carries your head and surrounds the brainstem, where the nervous system regulates heart rate, digestion, sleep, balance, and blood flow. When that bone shifts, even slightly, it can affect the brainstem and the nerves around it. Symptoms can show up in places that seem unrelated: head pressure, brain fog, feeling off balance but not dizzy, a gut that won't settle, waking up tired no matter how much you sleep.

It is measurable. It is usually missed, because no one is looking for it.

The medical system looks for disease. We look for dysfunction.

How we measure it ↓

the lazar method

We never guess. We measure.

Before anyone here recommends anything, your nervous system is measured. Three scans, your posture, and imaging. Then you see it on your own report, in plain words. Clarity before change.

Thermal

How your body is regulating temperature along the spine, level by level. A read on the part of your nervous system that runs the organs.

Heart rate variability

How much reserve your nervous system has, and whether it is stuck in fight or flight.

Muscle tone

How much energy your posture is costing you, and where.

PostureIQ™ measures your posture. Digital X-ray shows the alignment of the upper neck itself. Dr. Jonathan Lazar, D.C. personally interprets every scan and every image.

We don't ask you to believe us. Hold to measure.

Four seconds here. Four minutes there.

  • You were right.
  • Here is why.
  • Here is the plan.
  • See it on your own scans. Then decide.
  1. Measure

Scans, posture, and imaging before anything is recommended.

  2. Identify

Where the nervous system is under strain, and whether the upper neck is part of it.

  3. Clarify

A 16-page Report of Findings, in plain words, that finally makes sense.

  4. Correct

A precise upper cervical correction. Gentle and specific, planned from your own imaging. No cracking, no twisting.

  5. Restore

Structured care with scheduled re-scans that show progress on paper.

If the scans don't show something we can help, we'll tell you, and we won't take you as a patient.

Your scans are decision support, not a diagnosis. They show where your nervous system is under strain, and whether we can help.

the patient promise

What care is like here

You are not a chart. Dr. Lazar reviews every case and personally interprets every scan and X-ray. The team knows your name and your story, and the same people walk you through every step.

Care here is a relationship, not a visit. Corrective care comes first, with re-scans that show what is changing. After that, a plan to hold what you've gained, for as long as you want to keep it.

  • We will bring you clarity. You will understand what is happening in your body and why.
  • We will make sense of your story. Your symptoms and history were not random. Everything connects.
  • We will give you a real plan. You never leave without direction.
  • We will walk with you. We guide the journey and measure the progress.

We commit to the process, not the outcome. Every patient leaves their Report of Findings with clarity, meaning, and hope.

Patients drive from across Michigan because nothing closer worked. If you are far away, say so on your free 15-minute Clarity Call, a phone call with our team and no commitment, and we will plan around it.

"Everyone told me it would work. It didn't. Why would this be different?"
You're right to be skeptical. Everyone else told you it would work. None of them measured first. We don't ask you to believe us. We measure your nervous system before we recommend anything. If the scans don't show something we can help, we'll tell you, and we won't take you as a patient. If they do, you'll see it on your own report, and your re-scans will show whether it is changing. You won't have to take our word for it.
"I've tried chiropractic before."
So have most of the people we see. Upper cervical care with objective measurement is a different category. The correction is planned from your own scans and imaging, it is specific, and it is gentle. No cracking, no twisting.
"Is it safe? Does it hurt?"
The correction is gentle and specific. No cracking, no twisting, nothing forceful. It is planned from your own imaging, and your first correction is followed by a call from your doctor that evening.
"Do you take insurance?"
We're an out-of-network, self-pay practice, which means your care is built around what your nervous system needs, not what insurance will approve. Care is HSA/FSA eligible, we provide a superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and we offer interest-free payment plans for up to 18 months.
"I'd have to come in all the time."
Care is frequent at first, because that's when the correction is most likely to hold. Visits taper as your scans stabilize. Your schedule is set at your Report of Findings, in writing, before you decide.
"What if I can't afford it?"
The first two steps are a complimentary consultation and a $605 assessment, and nothing else is quoted until you have seen your own scans. If care is recommended, you'll see the full plan and its cost in writing, with interest-free payment plans up to 18 months, and you decide from there.
"You're too far away."
Patients drive from across Michigan because nothing closer worked. Tell us where you're coming from on your Clarity Call and we'll plan the early visits around it.
