You shouldn't have to guess what this costs before you pick up the phone. Here it is, in the order it happens.

Good to know: We're an out-of-network, self-pay practice. Care is HSA/FSA eligible, we provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and we offer interest-free payment plans for up to 18 months.

Nothing else is quoted until you have seen your own scans. If care is recommended, the full plan and its cost are put in writing at your Report of Findings, before you decide anything.

"Everyone told me it would work. It didn't. Why would this be different?"
You're right to be skeptical. Everyone else told you it would work. None of them measured first. We don't ask you to believe us. We measure your nervous system before we recommend anything. If the scans don't show something we can help, we'll tell you, and we won't take you as a patient. If they do, you'll see it on your own report, and your re-scans will show whether it is changing. You won't have to take our word for it.
"I've tried chiropractic before."
So have most of the people we see. Upper cervical care with objective measurement is a different category. The correction is planned from your own scans and imaging, it is specific, and it is gentle. No cracking, no twisting.
"Is it safe? Does it hurt?"

"Do you take insurance?"

"I'd have to come in all the time."
Care is frequent at first, because that's when the correction is most likely to hold. Visits taper as your scans stabilize. Your schedule is set at your Report of Findings, in writing, before you decide.
"What if I can't afford it?"
The first two steps are a complimentary consultation and a $605 assessment, and nothing else is quoted until you have seen your own scans. If care is recommended, you'll see the full plan and its cost in writing, with interest-free payment plans up to 18 months, and you decide from there.
"You're too far away."

What happens, step by step

The path, in order: a consultation with PostureIQ™, a two-visit Neurological Assessment, a Report of Findings, and then care, if the scans show we can help. You decide at every step, with your own scans in front of you.

"What happens at my first visit?"
The first visit is the complimentary consultation with PostureIQ™, a $251 value for new patients. You are heard, and your posture is measured. Nothing is recommended before you have seen your own scans. Our role isn't to convince you of anything. It's to help you understand what's actually going on, and then decide what makes sense for you.
"What happens after the first visit?"
If you're a candidate for care, the next step is the Neurological Assessment. It is $605 and takes two visits. Three scans and digital X-rays measure how your nervous system is regulating your body and show the alignment of your upper neck, and your 16-page Report of Findings is delivered at the second visit.
"What is a Report of Findings?"
It is a 16-page report, in plain words, built from your own scans and images. It shows where your nervous system is under strain and whether your upper neck is part of it. Dr. Jonathan Lazar, D.C. personally interprets every scan and every image. This is also where care is recommended, or not. If the scans don't show something we can help, we'll tell you, and we won't take you as a patient. If they do, your schedule and the full cost are put in writing, before you decide anything. Your scans are decision support, not a diagnosis.
"What will corrective care cost?"
Corrective care plans start at $2,500, and a typical plan is around $6,500. Nothing is recommended until you have seen your own scans, so your plan is quoted in full, in writing, at your Report of Findings, before you decide anything. Care is HSA/FSA eligible, and we offer interest-free payment plans for up to 18 months.
"Is upper cervical care covered by insurance?"
Here, care is self-pay. We provide a superbill you can submit to your plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement, and whether any of it is reimbursed is up to your plan. Care is HSA/FSA eligible, and we offer interest-free payment plans for up to 18 months.
"What is a Clarity Call?"
It is a free 15-minute phone call with our team, a chance to find out if what we do is a fit. There is no commitment, and nobody will ask you to commit to anything. Book a 15-minute Clarity Call.
"I live far away. How does scheduling work?"

"What are the memberships for?"
Corrective care comes first, with re-scans that show what is changing. After that, a membership is a plan to hold what you've gained, for as long as you want to keep it. It comes after corrective care, so it isn't part of the first steps.
